Business.
How to opt for suitable business school admission - have you ever stopped to think about the twists and turns your life makes? In the years I attended college I had so many big plans to make huge differences in our social service system through my profession as a social worker.
I have been reflecting more on this lately, I believe it is because my youngest is going to college and I am getting close to a milestone birthday. - i fear i have become part of the system after twenty five years and now i count the years and months to get retired. My youngest one would like to get a degree in business. My oldest son has joined the army by following in his father' s footsteps. Most of the past year he has been preparing for business school admission. My brother - in - law has offered to help him with the business school admission because he has been very successful in the insurance business. Neither my husband nor I have been able to help him because we do not have any background in business.
Since this is a very competitive area and we are finding that it is one of those situations that who you know can have a good impact on getting in. - two of them are recognized for their school of business. There are many colleges and universities that are within one hundred miles from our home. Our son believes it is really important in such a competitive field, to have his degree from one of the top ranked schools. The business school admission is a complicated procedure that I do not fully understand. He was given this information from his guidance counselor and my brother - in - law agrees.
Until he completes his general education classes, my son will not be in the business school. - a priority is given to those students that receive their general education at the same university. The grades he gets in his general education classes plus the recommendations from professors will help him get into the business school. So even though the cost of tuition for the general education classes is higher at this school than the university closest to us, he has decided that he wants to go there. To help him pay for the cost of his education, my husband and I are just going to have to put off our retirement for a couple more years. I am in agreement that he should get his entire education from one school because I have heard many stories about credits not transferring from one university to another.
Maybe if he is successful enough he will support us in our retirement.
